One week has passed since McJesus rose. 5 games with 6 points, with the Team going 2-3, including two blowout games where they were outscored 13-2. What a week to be a fan. We started off the all-star break with witnessing a miracle. The rising of McJesus! We had two games where we truly watched Him in all His glory, putting up 3 points in His first couple games.
However after the hype and excitement of playing against two of the lower seeded teams in the league, the realization hit when the Team matched up against the Habs. A team that was one of the top teams last year, and from what we’ve learned cannot win without Carey Price. There may be more to it, but we must not be the only ones cheering their fall. The Habs hadn’t played well, however we know what the best cure is for a slump: The Team! What's better than a team that was rejuvenated with Connor, had a couple off and were looking at winning three straight: The Team all pumped on winning two games. All that coupled with the curse of the afternoon game, and we had what could have been an awesome game for the Home team. Yup, we won’t get into it.

Sunday morning, a fresh start to the week! Nope, not even close. 8-1. How about that Mr. Schultz there? Wow, do something. Anything.
Other than the game, and watching a blowout; it was pretty nice to make an epic brunch and watch the game. But back to back afternoon games? I can’t help but think of how strange that would be for the players, no morning skates two games in a row? Sometimes the scheduling of the league makes no sense, but with the big fooseball game there weren’t many options. Of well, one more game on the road-trip!
Ceremony night in New Jersey for one of the best goalies. Well, it was a snorefest from the start, but we did see a few bright points. Just how fast in McJesus? Seriously, I would think that we may find Him to be one of the fastest in the league.
Good times are ahead friends, stay strong during the dark days.
The brightness that He shall bring will be worth the wait!
